How supercomputers impact our lives

January 2021, a new pre-exascale HPC machine, called Leonardo, is starting its computational life in Bologna, Italy.

Qual è la relazione tra il supercalcolo e la nostra vita quotidiana? Grazie a materiali di archivio, video e immagini di simulazioni scientifiche, filmati e articoli di repertorio, il video racconta i progetti e le sfide scientifiche che il Cineca affronta da 50 anni in questo campo. Un racconto che dal passato si proietta nel futuro con Leonardo, destinato ad essere uno dei più potenti supercomputer europei, che sarà installato a Bologna.
