HPC-Europa2’s main objective is to maintain the persistency of high quality transnational access to the most advanced HPC infrastructures available in Europe for the European computational science community, as offered in the last two decades by the same consortium. The entire project is organized around its core activity which is the Transnational Access (TA) HPC service provision. Over the four year lifespan of the action, this TA will provide HPC service, specialist support, scientific tutoring and collaboration opportunities to more than 1000 European researchers (1096 in total with about the 25% of them accessing the facilities remotely.

- Provision of transnational access to HPC systems - Provision of a suitable computational environment - Support to the European researchers towards the aim of remaining competitive with teams elsewhere in the world - Deployment and operation of a “virtual infrastructure” for HPC
