DARE

The DARE approach proposes:

a) the creation of a 3-LAYERS DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT, composed by DMP (data layer), CMS (editorial layer) and ViR-Virtual Realm (presentation layer), intended as the ENABLING TECHNOLOGY needed to activate urban actors;

b) the innovation of the PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION ROLE, called to act as PROCESS ENABLER. This change asks for the creation of a new level of management, that is the PROCESS ORGANIZERS TEAM, which will connect strategy (policy), opportunities (economical world) & needs (citizens);

c) the widespread of DIGITAL CULTURE AMONG CITIZENS to accompany them in becoming DIGITAL AWARE CITY CHANGERS.

An in-depth benchmark analysis has clearly emerged how DARE proposal evolves: the use of E-DEMOCRACY TOOLS, by directly engage citizens in a transparent decisional process to define URBAN TACTICS; the role of STORYTELLING as the pivotal communication instrument to BUILD COMMUNITY; the concept of URBAN COMMONS, here linked not only to the Darsena but also to its UR STRATEGY.

At the end of the project it is expected that Darsena will be perceived by citizens, visitors, investors as a DIGITAL-BASED ATTRACTIVE, INNOVATIVE, HEALTHY, SAFE &INCLUSIVE URBAN ECOSYSTEM.
