CRIS 2015 to support and manage Open Data, Open Access, and Open Science

The 2015 edition of the euroCRIS Membership Meeting will be held in Paris on May 11-12, hosted by the French Consortium AMUE (Agence de Mutualisation des Universités et Etablissements).

The title of the meeting is “CRIS in the Information Landscape: The place and role of CRIS to support and manage Open Data, Open Access, and Open Science”.

The event is free for all euroCRIS Members, while non-members might participate paying a €60 fee, which will give them the Member Status for the whole 2015.

During the meeting euroCRIS as well as each single Task Group, will present the main achievements of 2014 and the goals of the next year, with a focus on new developments of the CERIF technological standard maintained and promoted by euroCRIS and recommended by the European Commision.

Besides that there will be presentations related to CRIS' distribution and adoption from many European Countries.

Cineca has been collaborating with the euroCRIS' Community for several years now and from the beginning of 2015 is elected in the Board of Directors. IRIS, the Research Information System developed by Cineca is compliant with the CERIF standard so to allow a structured interoperability with external systems.
