Following a mandate from the Minister of Education, University and Research, Caspur and Cilea have been merged into Cineca. This has allowed the Consortium to reinforce its role as a technological arm of the Ministry, becoming a single point of reference in Italy for HPC and technological innovation, providing services for the national academic system, for research and for education.
