Every year Cineca offers a deep and solid teaching program in the field of Scientific Computing, and Scientific Visualization to guarantee a suitable support to scientists who need an advanced training to compete in their specific research field. The courses are tailored to all researchers who need to build or update their knowledge on computational sciences and in particular to ISCRA and PRACE users.
The locations for courses are Cineca offices in Bologna, Milan and Rome. The official language is Italian, but some courses are held in English.
In some 40 years of activity, Cineca gained a wide expertise of the most advanced tools for the use at best of the supercomputing systems. Cineca is one of the 6 PRACE PATCs (PRACE Advanced Training Centres) that enable the European research community to use PRACE's computational infrastructure. Therefore our training offer includes several events sponsored by the European Project PRACE-2IP, they are labelled as PATC events.
Moreover, Cineca organizes Summer and Advanced Schools (on Parallel Computing, on Computer Graphics..) which aims are to allow researchers to exploit at best the most advances computing tools and systems in their scientific activity.
