Cineca at ExpoPixel

8 April 2013

ExpoPixel is a themed fair dedicated to all professionals (companies and individuals) who work in the field of digital content, production and post-production and digital animation. ExpoPixel takes place in Bologna, Italy, from 15 to 17 April.

Promoted by Future Film Festival, ExpoPixel is dedicated to the digital entertainment sector, and aims at connecting markets and sectors once separated, which now are more and more tied up: financing, production, post-production and distribution of digital content.

Cineca takes part at the event with its projects, like Apa, the stereoscopic cartoon that tells the history of Bologna in different periods: thanks to the voice of Lucio Dalla, Apa the Etruscan drives the public into virtual scenarios that reproduce the town, and they're recreated with an exact historic and scientific approach.

Moreover, Monday 15 April Antonella Guidazzoli, leader of Cineca's VisitLab, will take part at the workshop "Archaeology and augmented museums", with Mauro Felicori, Dipartimento Economia e Promozione della Città - Comune di Bologna; Paola Giovetti, Museo Civico Archeologico di Bologna; Davide Borra, NoReal; Massimo Negri, Direttore Museo della Storia di Bologna; Jacopo Ortalli, Università di Ferrara.
