FERMI is the new Italian computing system IBM BG/Q installed at CINECA. With this new supercomputer, CINECA becomes a PRACE Tier-0 hosting site, as from the mandate of the Italian Ministry MIUR.
In the occasion of the FERMI installation, CINECA appoints its new Scientific Committee and is happy to introduce this new body to the PRACE Scientific Steering Committee and to the Italian and European scientific communities.
