The computational power of these HPC systems is huge. Several tens of Tflop/s (tens of billion complex operations per second) are at disposal of resarchers for solving their computing problems. This level of performance is possible thanks to the "parallel" use of thousands processors connected with high troughput networks.

On this class of systems you can obtain an account for running programs from the Catalog or even your own programs. Several tools for programmers are available like compiler, profiling tools and debuggers.
These systems can be reached through ssh or through the HPC Portal, hosted on the FEC, that gives access to all our HPC resources.
