From the centre of Bologna you can take bus number 20 and get off at the terminus, which is approx. 2 km from Cineca. It runs quite frequently, about ever 15 minutes.
From here you can proceed by taxi or on foot. Or you can get off at the Casalecchio stop (the one right after the bridge over the Reno River), walk back about 50 metres and take via Garibaldi. From there, take bus number 85, which passes every half hour or every hour, depending on the day. The departure stop is Casalecchio “Ugo Bassi” (timetables).
To reach Cineca, get off at the"Z.I CASAL.PARINI" stop, cross the street, continue for a few hundred metres on Via del Lavoro and take the first street on the left, Via Verga (perpendicular to Via del Lavoro, where there is a bar on the corner). Follow the street all the way to the end and turn left.
